Obama exits Air Force One in Denmark

President Obama landed in Copenhagen to begin talks with other leaders on climate change.

But Global Warming is just a myth, right? So what can they hope to accomplish.

The Chinese are being obstinate. No surprise there. They are churning out the majority of the worlds textiles, products, etc. And making a very good living at it. No real change will transpire in their approach until some type of leverage can be attained. As they hold all the cards in this matter, this is a hurdle that wont soon be overcome. The leaders are a bit helpless in this matter. They don’t want to anger the economic behemoth. Act locally! Don’t buy anything made in China.

I do hope that there will be some foundations laid, if not concrete agreements. We’ll see.

Best of luck, Mr. Prez!

One Response to “Obama in Copenhagen”

  1. Barack Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope,” provides a catchy title. It has a taste of bravery mixed confidently. There’s nothing Pollyanna about it. I will most likely not support everything he tells, but he’s our president, and then for me, he inspires trust. That will do more for a region than any number of backroom deals. Hope gives us energy, and energy sustains us through trying times. Boy, we’ve had them. I’m from West Texas, and I did not vote for Bush. When McCain ran against Obama, I was a citizen of Arizona, but I gave audacious hope a chance. The fight for progress and laying the foundations of prosperity isn’t over. I have seen the quips of those that don’t think Obama is capable of it. But step back a moment. Would anyone have all of us fail only to tarnish the star of an incumbent for whom they did not vote? Keeping our priorities straight, let’s work together with this president and build our future.
