What a sad turn of events for Chris Henry and the Bengals.
I was never much of a fan of Henry’s. I thought that his off field behavior was indicative of what is wrong with pro athletes these days.
But he was a young man. There was time to clean up his act.
He seemed to be heading in that direction.
But then season ending surgery and now this.
And, let’s be frank, what a bizarre way to go.
Falling out of the back of a pick up truck during a domestic dispute?
I’m sure tempers were hot and emotions were flying, but Ms. Tonga has to be overwhelmed by this turn of events.
And now the extended family of the Bengals have their 2nd death this season to deal with. Coach Zimmer’s wife died unexpectedly earlier this season.
I hope all the Bengals have the strength to deal with all of this.
They are a fun squad to watch.
Up and coming defense.
Lots of talent on offense.
Charismatic head coach.
They just seemed to be turning some corners.
Life is so fragile.
